陳偉群是現任加拿大花式溜冰冠軍（2008-2011）。陳偉群來自香港移民後裔，年屆20歲。是一位充滿活力、勤奮好學、正準備攻讀大學的青年。

Who He Is
Patrick Chan was born in Ottawa, Ontario on December 31, 1990 and raised in Toronto. The 21 year old is our very own Canadian figure skating sensation whom Kurt Browning said was the best skater he had ever seen. He is a four-time (2008-2011) Canadian Champion, the 2009 Four Continents Champion and 2010 & 2011 Grand Prix Final Champion. He represented Canada in the competition every athlete dreams about – the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics at home in Canada, finishing fifth in his Olympic debut.
On April 27, 2011, Patrick set a new world record of 93.02 points for the short program. He then set a new world record for his free skate, receiving an overall score of 280.98. Patrick was crowned World Champion in Moscow on April 28, 2011. In recognition, he was chosen by a select panel of sports writers as the winner of 2011 Lou Marsh Trophy as Canada’s top athlete. He was the winner of the Lionel Conacher Award for being Canada’s male athlete of the year in 2011, the same award which Wayne Gretzky won six times in the 1980s.

In order to allow Patrick the opportunity to enter and be the first Canadian man to win the Men’s Figure Skating Gold medal at the next 2014 Winter Olymipic, we need your support.
What You Can Do
Once again, this year, the World Chinese Business Association of Canada is hosting a fundraising campaign to support Patrick Chan in fulfilling his goal. All proceeds from this campaign will go towards Patrick’s training so that he can continue to set even higher precedents.
